The state of Arkansas has appealed the decision of the Circuit Court. LITTLE ROCK-The American Civil Liberties Union and the ACLU of Arkansas has appeared before the Arkansas Supreme Court today to uphold the lower court decision striking a law that prohibits any person living with a non-married, including homosexual relationships to serve as a foster parent or foster home. In April, the Court of Pulaski County Circuit ruled that the law, known as Act No. 1, has not served the state interest in determining what best for children.
