that the White House Press Office has refused to allow full access to the bottom of Boston Boston Herald Obama of funds in the mail today to oppose the placement of the front page of Mitt Romney opinion piece in telling pool reporters are chosen because they cover the news "pretty" ..

The Herald has been ignored by the joint service for the last two visits of Obama, despite calls from the White House reporter for the local pool. His speech in the afternoon Cyclorama South End is open to all media, but only a select group to attend to other aspects of fundraising. Pool journalists must share your computer with the press more. Obama is in town today to raise funds for his reelection campaign in 2012.

The White House may be able to manipulate the pool deck, but can not handle the fact that millions of Americans out of work due to the failure of Obama to create jobs and stimulate our economy, "said Fehrnstrom In a statement yesterday." This opinion article was about the work, which apparently is a sensitive issue for people with thin skin around the president.

After losing control of Congress, Obama sat down with the conservative Fox commentator Bill O'Reilly. The White House was to be at war with Fox News at the beginning of the administration, with his communications director calling Fox a "boom" of the Republican Party, while President Fox avoided interviews until his health reform proposal , had no problems.

In April 2010, Bloomberg's Ed Chen, president of the Association of White House Correspondents, met with complaints and then-press secretary Robert Gibbs hash media restrictions, saying: "In my 10 years White House rarely have I heard such a level of anger. The White House, practices and attitudes toward the press, "..

Since last night, John Boehner, has asked thousands of billions in cuts in exchange for an increase in the debt ceiling, people wondered how aggressive the White House and the Democrats would respond. Therefore, this exchange, the press aboard Air Force One with the press secretary Jay Carney is very interesting (for a White House transcript.)

We are optimistic. We have a tax treaty, we believe. We believe we can achieve this goal. Carney: We continue to maintain it's crazy to hijack the vote to raise the debt ceiling to prevent the United States to pay its obligations as any other law. But to keep hostage to others is very unwise, in our opinion.

You can not create jobs if federal debt default. "We could not agree more and I note that some of the things President Boehner said before, if I have them here, on this matter at its January day -.. O no, 30 January, said instead – who is the Chairman of the House – noted that – failing to raise the debt ceiling means "financial disaster, not only for our country but for the world economy.

During the battle over spending cuts, Boehner has adopted a deliberate strategy to take us to the brink of a government shutdown to make it easier to sell to the conservatives after the final compromise, giving way to credibly argue that the "do effort to obtain maximum concessions Democrats. But I wonder if it's not like Boehner wants to be perceived. Carney twice used the word "kidnapping" to describe the treatment of the situation and Boehner, when pressed, declined to say if the White House, Boehner considered a "kidnapper". This is a fairly aggressive.

And the White House accused Boehner of "hostages" to take in order to extract the maximum spending cuts only help the conservatives: they want it. My bet is Boehner adopt the same strategy of provocation against the roof of the new debt – which takes us to the brink of Armageddon, to make it easier to sell the final agreement for the Conservatives even later if you do not receive "thousands of million "what you want.

A second bill, the No-Track Online Act of 2011, will be introduced by Senator Jackie Speier, a Democrat, introduced the failure to follow me in line Act of 2011, which would give the Federal Trade Commission 18 months to with corporate standards to follow when dealing with online tracking.
"I think it is necessary to ensure that personal information and consumers 'private' is personal and private." I have always supported legislative initiatives to increase protection for consumers, "Barton said in a release. It does not follow the 2011 Children Act is a law that made protecting our children a priority, and I think this is a first important step in respecting the privacy of consumers .. "I realize that the collection of information by consumers is necessary to conduct business online, but it is never acceptable to abuse this information.

The state Senate Judiciary Committee voted to move forward in the Senate by a vote of 3-2.

The "dynamic duo" of privacy – Representative Ed Markey and Joe Barton – the credit for leading this important new legislation that we need a privacy law XXI century, which protects children and young "..". "Young people are the target of a powerful digital data collection monitoring, wherever they are – on mobile phones, social networking, games or surf the Web," Chester said in a statement. Children who do not follow the legislation will ensure they are protected online. Parents and those who care about the youth of America should support this bill.

If a consumer can not track personal information, Rockefeller said, the bill would allow companies "to get only the information necessary for the site or online service to function and be effective, but a legal obligation to destroy company online or made anonymous once the data is no longer necessary "..

Sure. but they got what they wanted in discretionary spending – that's a good thing for Republicans. He said the Republicans asked 38Billion are nuts. Democrats also have something new – the Republicans have led social and ideological agenda of defunding the PP and other government programs that are needed. I believe that democracy at its best. that have taken place in and got something in return. and I hope it is just a start to finally discuss the confusion with the true path of the budget (not a Republican or Democrat – but a nutjob not.)

All this drama for nothing. Why all did a lot for a cut of less than one percent of the budget? Obama won, lost Bonner outs.who tea party cares? What the American people should worry about our finances are in ruins and our future is in the flesh. Spending other people's money seems pretty easy for me. The third grader could balance our budget better than this group of drunken monkeys.

you are talking absolute crap. then asked, I can cut Medicare or raising the age for Social Security?. and take up arms and say "Do not Tread on Me." Stupid fools. If it is not. If you want to fight against the budget, we agree that the SS / Medicare / Medicaid? Defense should be renewed. you say "rights." I do not mind when people think no more and binds to be headed by Talking Heads – in the case of Glenn Beck or Ed Schultz. that's what I heard from my Republican colleagues. "And then, as cut, he said," cut spending, cut spending, I ask you again what to cut.

How can you call a cut if there has been used to start? If you really cut a lot of things that people are more tolerant with her. They lie to the American people on both sides and the White House. Yes, and the CBO said that in reality just cut 348 million budget. Buffet and Gates get $ 1 per year salary. This is another lie, so that people hate Republicans Tea Party elite. Now it's too late to stop the stupidity. If they want to tax the rich more to increase taxes on capital income. Bill by Obama will kill the old signs of death. They did not pay taxes this year and will never be, oh I forgot that Obama is the company today. I am sure that in the spirit of Obama, that would help the deficit. The billions are the Czech Republic has not been spent. They will not play the game forever If you take all that $ 2. The Democrats will never cut anything, kill the crap out of older people is just that. They will not tax themselves. This would make (Buffet, Bill Gates, Soros and other billionaires who pay taxes). Shit in the tax on the rich is good in the campaign. GM and GE tax. They were rejected and nNow know they are in the bill. Pelosi was right to go and we all know what is inside.

In June 2006, a Democratic majority in the House also rejected the idea of empowering the FCC to regulate broadband providers, then a vote of 269-152. Little has changed – except, perhaps, that the discussion has become even more partisan – from the last vote on net neutrality for nearly five years.

It requires both the House and Senate to vote, and is subject to a presidential veto, but is not subject to filibuster and needs only 51 votes to clear the Senate. A resolution of disapproval is a formal process described in the Act of Congress, which allows Congress to override the decisions of federal agencies.

It is one of those things that technology has become much more partisan. "I'll make a backseat to no one in my commitment to network neutrality" during the 2008 campaign, Obama said CNET In February, President of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio) announced that "our new majority in the House is committed to using every tool at our disposal to fight an acquisition of Internet governance.".

Just more proof that libs/dims/socialists need to have their hands held by the government in order to "survive". There's this thing, it's called the internet, and another thing that's been around a little while called TV and radio. If you hear, on either one of these venues, that there's been a major earthquake somewhere in the world that is in or around the ocean, and you live in or around the ocean, assume a tsunami is likely. It's called self preservation. There, pretty simple huh. We have a tornado warning system here where I live, and my family and I are in the basement LONG before we ever hear that siren going off. Libs/dims/socialists have lost that instinct a long time ago thanks to the cradle to grave care they expect from Big Government. You think some siren warning system is necessary to warn the general population of an impending wave? How ridiculously naive. Anyone that thinks spending the ridiculous amounts of money needed for a Tsunami warning center is money well spent is not rational. Wow.

then I will listen to you. You give up all modern conveniences such as electric power driving a car etc. Otherwise just shut up as if you don't you are just another Marxist hypocrite. Never let a crisis go to waste right? You don't want Nuclear you don't want oil drilling you don't want coal. Damn I knew you Marxists would jump on this before all the dead were even cold to bash Nuclear. Here is a deal.

has anyone considered maybe just maybe God is getting a bit tired of the direction we humans are going? So many natural disasters have occurred over the last few years. But like I said people do not believe in a higher power now. First of all unbelievable tragedy of the scale of that 9 plus one a few years ago that caused the tsunami that killed over 100 thousand people. Also we have all these references to nature I guess 60 years ago the references would be to God, But people have looked away from God.

nutsnbolts, you don't know what you are talking about. And though most of central and southern CA's faults are inland, the crustal boundary that runs from Fort Bragg north to Canada is off the coast and is capable of causing 9and greater earthquakes, massive tidal waves, and coastal subsidence just like what happened in Japan. The one that hit Japan was estimated between 23 and 33 feet. There are hundreds of small communities up and down the coast that would be devastated by even a 12 foot tsunami. Ferndale, Fortuna, Eureka, Arcata, Orick, Crescent City, Brookings, Gold Beach, Bandon, Coos Bay, Reedsport, Lincoln City, Astoria, Portland, Ocean Park, Ocean Shores, Neah Bay…all of these towns would be gone if a 23 foot wave hit.

If i remember right it was like a third of the city just gone. some of the pictures out of the north are heartbreaking, but i saw one coastal city and they were looking at a water way and saying that shouldn't be there that should be flowing back out to sea.

In fact there is no case in US history in modern times where the US was "caught off guard" by a tsunami. Yes we've been hit by the effects of Tsunamis but we always knew these were coming BEFORE the event. If regulations make us safer then how do you explain the fact we had half the number of rules and regulations under Bill Clinton and we weren't devastated by Tsunamis catching us off guard back then. Please, show me one case.

The towns right on the water are certainly in the danger zone. But most of the coast has high ground near or right on the shore, limiting the distance waves would get inland. I stand reminded. The San Francisco Bay has a small mouth relative to the circumference of the bay, so a tidal wave would be damped there – not to say the wharf might not get washed out. Of course if the wave were miles long it would still get in, though much more slowly than it did in Sendai and with a lower peak. However I don't know of a lot of flat coastal plains on this coast. Monterey bay has a plain that could get the broad inundation that the Sendai region got. Puget Sound would also have a damped wave.

Also, the San Andreas is a stick-slip fault rather than a subduction zone, so the displacements tend not to be as severe as the one in Japan. The '04 tsunami in fact was caused by an underwater slide, so I will admit this difference may not be significant. Underwater slides of course can still move a lot of water.
