Since last night, John Boehner, has asked thousands of billions in cuts in exchange for an increase in the debt ceiling, people wondered how aggressive the White House and the Democrats would respond. Therefore, this exchange, the press aboard Air Force One with the press secretary Jay Carney is very interesting (for a White House transcript.)

We are optimistic. We have a tax treaty, we believe. We believe we can achieve this goal. Carney: We continue to maintain it's crazy to hijack the vote to raise the debt ceiling to prevent the United States to pay its obligations as any other law. But to keep hostage to others is very unwise, in our opinion.

You can not create jobs if federal debt default. "We could not agree more and I note that some of the things President Boehner said before, if I have them here, on this matter at its January day -.. O no, 30 January, said instead – who is the Chairman of the House – noted that – failing to raise the debt ceiling means "financial disaster, not only for our country but for the world economy.

During the battle over spending cuts, Boehner has adopted a deliberate strategy to take us to the brink of a government shutdown to make it easier to sell to the conservatives after the final compromise, giving way to credibly argue that the "do effort to obtain maximum concessions Democrats. But I wonder if it's not like Boehner wants to be perceived. Carney twice used the word "kidnapping" to describe the treatment of the situation and Boehner, when pressed, declined to say if the White House, Boehner considered a "kidnapper". This is a fairly aggressive.

And the White House accused Boehner of "hostages" to take in order to extract the maximum spending cuts only help the conservatives: they want it. My bet is Boehner adopt the same strategy of provocation against the roof of the new debt – which takes us to the brink of Armageddon, to make it easier to sell the final agreement for the Conservatives even later if you do not receive "thousands of million "what you want.

His comparison of the two brilliant moves into the mentality that fueled his contempt for the lives of civilians and called targeted killings based on racial criteria. At the same time, the Soviets Burleigh to task for its treatment of civilians, as the Red Army drove the Germans in Berlin. The emphasis is on the culpability of the army, "German, not only in the SS during the Holocaust. The officers were promoted after figures of the body, while the infantry were informed that the killing of Jews would have saved the German civilization – a message reinforced by the brutal conditions of the Eastern Front. Burleigh approach to war policy and the implementation of the draft of the amoral Nazi and Soviet regimes and center.

It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship between two men. Truman. Only the death of Roosevelt in April 1945 was a measure of absolution to Hoover, this unlikely, under the guise of the new president, Harry S. During the next twelve years, Hoover has presided over several so-called "Hoover commissions work to optimize the elements of the government. Truman asked Hoover to apply their knowledge to the reorganization of the U.S. government. A few months of his taking office, Truman invited Hoover to the White House to discuss a topic in which the former president was still captain -. the problem of hunger in the turmoil of war also had the heretic, the concept of tongue in cheek for the award an additional attack hitters in baseball, designed, Hoover suggested, "to have more men on base.".

The / Roosevelt Hoover Grand Duel continues to fight, and sometimes more fascinating. Like Roosevelt, he told the audience he was "simply unfair to the millions of people for whom the New Deal was literally a godsend." Not that you may be able to convince the next generation of Hooverites for that, apparently, even the ghost of a man is an existential threat requiring such visits the grave every year to ensure that, like the rest of his soul, the great man is still in its crypt in the garden of Hyde Park. Was the appearance in August 2007 by Amity Shlaes in Ellsworth, Maine, to discuss "The forgotten man" at a forum organized by a local newspaper, the Ellsworth American. Professed disappointment at what he calls "selective anecdotes of people affected by the" New Deal "which in his opinion, are the backbone of the story Shlaes. On holiday in the door of his house next summer, Frank Roosevelt felt obliged to participate. After the presentation Shlaes, Roosevelt, presented and spoke in defense of the legacy of his grandfather.

All lines were paved roads were built the affected neighborhoods. This is called being completely inactive on road trips and 5-way, more than 1 1 / 2 hours. Enjoy Florida in 10 years living in what we now do every day while using the money the governor has given us to solve our transportation problems. I am from Los Angeles, and our city will have the most developed network of road cars in the world.

The GOP budget plan – which would cut about $5 million from the federal deficit and overhaul entitlement programs Medicare and Medicaid – offers a daring solution to extract the nation from under a mountain of debt but risks facing a backlash from voters who may see it as a threat to federal health care services essential to older and poorer Americans. Compared with Obama’s budget, the GOP plan would cut $6.2 trillion over 10 years.

Despite Israel’s reference to current Medicare beneficiaries, the summary of Ryan’s plan presented on the House Budget Committee website said his proposals would apply only to new Medicare beneficiaries starting in 2022, in other words, only to people who are now under age 54. “There would be no disruptions in the current Medicare fee-for-service program for those currently enrolled or becoming eligible in the next ten years,” the plan summary said.

This is the most cynical, un-American, dasterdly thing the right has ever concocted and that’s saying something given their track record. This isn’t about America or our budget or taxes or spending – it’s about the republican attempt to fundamentally change America. You lose Head Start. Ok I read it – it is FULL and I do mean FULL of giveaways for the corporations that actually run the GOP. They want to obliterate the middle class. If you can vote for these people after that – well then you are voting against yourself. Over ten years – this plan gives the average millionaire – that’s right – ONE MILLION DOLLARS. You lose PELL grants. Who pays for that? Everyone else. In this plan, millionaires get $100,000 tax breaks. They want a few hundred people and companies to get huge, unjustified tax breaks while very poor people pay an increasing percentage of their meager income to support the government. You lose all sorts of programs that the poor depend on so millionaires can become richer. PLEASE read this thing – see what’s in it.

By the time they realize what they have lost, they won’t be able to get it back. Wake up, people. That is what will happen if this budget is passed. Look at Wisconsin. Vote Dem in 2012. The sad thing is that the conservative voters fall for the Republicans’ con and don’t realize until after they have elected all those Repubs, that the policies they actually want to enact are detrimental to their own self interest and by then it is too late. I guess that’s what the Repubs count on. Don’t wait until it is too late.

Increased fuel cost–when we don’t have a choice–we have to drive to work–increase in food prices–increase in ALL Insurance–health, life, auto, short-term disability, long-term disability, nursing home insurance, home–no driving vacations–no vacations at all etc etc etc etc etc. IF YOU aren’t living within YOUR MEANS, then don’t hurt the working 53+ MILLION people in this country to FORCE YOU into cutting back. ROY– LIVE WITHIN OUR MEANS? The Middle Class’ BUDGET KEEPS GETTING SMALLER and has been for the last 10 YEARS. We can’t live within our means.

Did you read your Heritage chart? It’s not static.its at a historic low. And yes, spending has increased, much of it on 2 wars, plus the unfunded medicare benefit passed in 2003, plus in a recession, the government always spends more.its the only way to keep the economy from getting worse.

I corrected your statement in bold text. Since all three branches of government were controlled by the Democrats, with good leadership, it should have been a walk through the park. If the Democrats did their job in the first place, there wouldn’t be ANY threat of our government briefly shutting down. Yes, it is transparently clear the Democrats could have resolved our budget issues last year when the budget was due.

Reinstitute significant tax and assistance payments for residential and commercial alternative energy instillations, particularly focusing on residential solar. Subsidies the further development of electric and hybrid electric cars. Eliminate any power of the EPA to regulate Carbon.12. 469 (2005) and Tahoe-Sierra Preservation Council, Inc. Repeal the Community Reinvestment Act.14. This is no longer a simple market issue, but one of national security as the time to substitution is longer than the economy can withstand when confronted with a supply side shock10. 302 (2002),13. Remove environmental restrictions and environmental and social impact requirements for all infrastructure and utility construction for the next 10 years.6.Cut Federal budget by 10% excluding defense, starting with those duplicative items identified in the 3/1/11 GAO report and Presidents Debt Commission, however, maintain current spending for infrastructure construction, repair and upgrade for the next 5 years. Repeal the Davis-Bacon Act.7. 1. Provide significant tax breaks and incentives for the purchase of same, particularly when combined with the purchase of a residential solar instillation within two years of one another. Use Commerce Clause to force all electrical utilities to be reverse metering.9. Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, 535 U.S. Legislatively restrict the wetlands definition of “navigable waters of the United States” in the Clean Water Act.3. Open Yucca Mountain as originally agreed.11. Hold congressional investigations into the roll of the Community Reinvestment Act, Freddie and Fannie in inflating demand and thus prices resulting in the collapse of the real estate market.15. Fund and begin construction of power generation and water supply projects necessary to meet future population and industrial demands.4. City of New London, 545 U.S. v. Streamline regulation of new construction of nuclear power plants and provide incentives for same. Then Repeal Obamacare as unnecessary.2. Eliminate the Ethanol subsidy for any and all processes using foodstuffs. Legislatively remove the anti-trust exemption for insurance, The McCarran-Ferguson Act. In the name of national security remove all environmental restrictions and environmental and social impact requirements for the construction of same.16 Pass legislation that all jurisdictions receiving federal monies of any sort are required to enforce all of the laws of the land, including enforcement of federal immigration laws. Remove all geographic restrictions on oil and natural gas drilling, and use the power of federal money transfers to the States to prevent States and local governments from interfering with drilling.5. Use the power of the Federal purse to eviscerate Kelo v. Redirect monies to nuclear and coal. Reduce Corporate tax rates by 70% on private utilities and transport companies.8. Reduce corporate tax rates by 50%. Build a wall embedded with sensors and toped with razor wire along both our borders, beginning with the southern one.

And the Congressional Budget Office said in its analysis of the version of Ryan’s plan that he offered with Rivlin last year that if it were enacted “future beneficiaries would probably face higher premiums in the private market for a package of benefits similar to that currently provided by Medicare.”.

Raise taxes on the rich & corporations, if they want to give a tax break on corporations, make sure they only get it if they don’t outsource. Also why should the politicians be able to keep their healthcare & salary after they leave office, even if they are only in one term. I would go with a flat tax, but it would have to have a couple levels with the rich paying the most, no loopholes you make x amount that is what you pay, don’t matter if you are married, single, with children or without. Why won’t they start there in cutbacks, I ‘m sure that would help. How about the pay for the politicians, why should they get alot more then the police or fireman that put their lifes on the line everyday. I have a few suggestions. Cut Military spending.

Today, Republicans are quick to ridicule the science shows that the use of fossil fuels is creating greenhouse gases that are warming the planet to catastrophic levels.

As Bill Maher said nothing as provocative as this week, for example, the Quran calls a "holy book full of hate", Bill Maher would not have if I was not upset, and tonight needle in one of his favorite targets, the Party Republicans.

Maher night's main beef with the law: the lack of attention to real problems. So the problem is wrong, "said Maher, who try to govern with the Republicans" is like a meth addict, "that instead of renting it is worrying that the police resented the air conditioning. Contrasts list what he called "unnecessary distractions that make up the Republican Party platform" – are included in the public sector unions, the law of Sharia, including children, "Ground Zero mosque," NPR, and war "Christmas", etc. .

And what are the real problems that Maher wants to focus on politicians? "Climate change, loose nuclear weapons, debt, infrastructure, the wealth gap, our dependence on oil from distant places by foreign sample taken to the dead, like Alaska." Watch the video clip (s Det. There was a lot of ridiculous, really. John Munch Richard Belzer talk to your feedback) then for HBO.

While Wisconsin labor protests entering its tenth consecutive day with the latest in a surprise vote of the National Assembly by the Republicans to fire in the Senate (which has been deprived of a quorum of democratic state senators absent), it is worth thinking about exactly what is at stake. Although the proposal as a budget impasse, the public service unions have already accepted all the cuts proposed by Gov. Scott Walker. The question is about the future of collective bargaining in the state.

This is the $ 400,000 raised by DailyKos, Democracy for America, Progressive Change Campaign Committee and other groups of mediation on the Internet, 14 Democratic senators to support the State of Wisconsin, who went into exile imposed in an effort to fight against Governor Walker wins legislative approval of his will, regardless of public opinion on the subject. There are solidarity actions planned around the country. And, of course, union organizers have a number of "tools of mobilization trivial" to coordinate protest activities. The Web has had an increasing role in these events. There are orders of pizzas, which are very good. There's Twitter, and dissemination of information based on the blog, you have to rely on traditional guardians new to the debate and decide the items are worth.

Wisconsin is probably the end of the iceberg. Many people in the U.S. are tired of being unemployed, having no real health care and have homes that are losing their value. United States, people must endure to be a citizen of the richest country, but has no money and because they were surprised by the lies of religion and patriotism.

As Clinton said :…. "Elections have consequences" At least I think she was anyway anyone know if a high turnout mean% or so for the current government as someone one said, the governor of Wisconsin, was elected on a promise to do exaclty what they do. If you have not exercised their right to vote, you literally do not count. The argument that voters did not vote in large numbers is a bit "weird.

There is clearly a conflict of interest with clear consequences and that means public debt. Member States – especially in blue states – that is broke and facing bankruptcy and possible rescues. And "the average person in Wisconsin to pay the salaries of public sector workers and the average person simply does not offer job girlfriend in the private sector. Of course, this is never mentioned by the unions that seem disconnected from reality . This is not the small but powerful unions of public works with Democrats united in the interests of the Union. The average worker is obliged to pay pension and medical or dental extravagant negotiated by Democratic governors and mayors in the interest of public employees (one of its components). It is no longer viable.

In the recording of the call, which was published online, the Republican governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker says an impersonation of a right of appeal Koch brothers, who are eager to fly to California to celebrate with them after the battle with unions has earned, and jokes take a baseball bat to slug Democratic leaders.
