Obama’s folly is all the more egregious because, early on, in the Spring of 2009, GOP leaders like Jim DeMint were saying they would make health care reform his “Waterloo,” and it was obvious that they could do it by agitating the reactionary populism that always wins for GOP pols and their corporate backers. That kind of GOP demagoguery works due to the irrefutable statistical fact that fifty percent of Americans are of below average intelligence.

Or maybe just go back to deflect any attempt to define it. Well, but we reserve the right to remain in conflict. Maybe he is trapped in the building of Oscar Wilde, the fear that if we stop laughing to tell the truth, we will kill him. The planet is crumbling, and if Stewart is content to tell your Yuks – some of Al Franken could not do – that's it.

In an editorial, a former Justice Department official in the Bush Kris Kobach Obama has accused the Justice Department to prosecute a "weak case against Arizona immigration law in question – that Kobach helped write – for" purely policies "Unlike previous administrations." Indeed, the Bush Justice Department was considered highly politicized, and legal experts agree that Arizona law is "unconstitutional" ..

It seemed appropriate that it was snowing in Las Vegas.. Thursday morning, the 21st of January found me climbing off an airplane in Las Vegas. By the time the day was over Senator-elect Scott Brown was in Washington, Air America was dead, Keith Olbermanns head had exploded (twice), and Citizens United v. FEC had overturned a century of campaign finance law.
