"We at least have to do it on the ballot a nonbinding resolution calling on the people of Pima County, if you want to be part of Arizona, Tucson attorney Paul Eckerstrom, former chairman of the Democratic Republic of Pima County, which was launched the campaign, told Reuters. "All the stars had to align to happen, but it could happen by the fall of 2013 .."

Both measures have been proposed strict requirements for presidential candidates to get on the ballot (Birthe Bill) in Arizona and the proposal to allow people to carry weapons at specific locations of the University (The bill Guns on campus) . It's a relief that the two were rejected by a conservative who has finally drawn a line in the Arizona desert that some right-wing ideas are too ugly, stupid and an insult to be legally binding. What a relief that the Republican governor of Arizona, Jan Brewer, has vetoed two bills unfounded by the legislature, apparently controlled by a cabal of Republicans crazy Partiers tea and worshipers of perpetual tax cuts guru Grover Norquist.

Among the bills considered requiring that parents of students K-12 schools to prove the nationality of their children. The letter was distributed to Republican senators by Pearce and others, last Thursday, was read by another senator as legislators debated one of the five bills relating to illegal immigration.

Arizona governor has requested federal permission to remove 280 000 to the poor of their Medicaid rolls. And most worrying in a country awash with firearms in which a political party as a whole and most of the broadcast media are dominated by a group of hired liars, and the occasional manic, throwing silly to induce paranoia, Arizona (of all places!) has already reduced spending on mental health, and plans to cut another $ 17.4 million.

Yes, here is racist. Filming in Arizona 10 days ago led us to ask what had changed there in Arizona. Elizabeth wrote that the incident should not tar an entire state. I lived in Tucson since 1973. I taught at Pima Community College for many years. So I feel I have enough knowledge about the type of place in Tucson. Yes, we have a lot of people angry, especially after an economic collapse.

Oregon’s liberal voters ratified the tax increase on individuals and another on businesses in January of this year, no doubt feeling good about their “shared sacrifice.”. Only New York City’s rate is higher. Oregon raised its income tax on the richest 2% of its residents last year to fix its budget hole, but now the state treasury admits it collected nearly one-third less revenue than the bean counters projected.

A three-judge panel of the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit overturned a state law that requires people to provide proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote, saying the law is in conflict with the Federal National Law Voter Registration
