Beck: Good News! A Blaze Is Coming That Will Burn Everything

Politicians don’t have veto power over who gets to write about them, or how they research their stories, as long as they’re within the bounds of the law. And that’s what Palin is doing here — she has already inspired Glenn Beck to accuse McGinniss of “stalking” Palin and issuing a threat to boycott his publisher. It’s incredibly irresponsible for them to sic their fans on journalists they don’t like.

There’s nothing you can do about it. And any attempt that Palin makes at “destroying” McGinniss will only result in more unwanted attention on her. It’s called the “Streisand effect” — look it up some time. She can’t have it both ways. Furthermore, by opening her mouth on a daily basis, showing up at rallies, and thrusting herself and her family in the spotlight, Palin becomes a target for journalists to write about.

But that may just be the way these books are written: make your sources comfortable and get the info on the main character. But yes, nobody was happy when they found out there would be yet more publicity. One the other hand, one good friend of mine did have a peripheral involvement in one case McGinniss wrote about and she reported back to me that most of the innocent parties involved weren’t unhappy with the book — lots of identifying information left out, so they can still live their lives without anybody figuring out that they were, well, doing normal everyday things when the murder was being planned right next to them. But it seems McGinniss will not hang his sources out to dry.

I, myself happily, willingly unleash my “grip”, as this grip is what’s been holding righteous, faithful Americans from unleashing our visceral, bestial impulses towards a deserved enemy: a vile, slanderous news media who until now have not been held to account, but has repeatedly shielded themselves behind the ruse of “civil discourse”. My conservative brothers, as well-intentioned as they may be, have convinced themselves the only way to combat such a scourge is to take the proverbial “high ground”, turning the other cheek as one might say.

She used it when Bristol and Willow didn’t want to go to school in Juneau (she claimed that there had been threats of gang rape– threats that she never reported to the police or to other parents) and when she claimed that David Letterman was sexually harassing Willow. And now she brings her usual “stalking my daughter” argument. I wonder what it is in Palin’s past that leads her to use sexual abuse of children as her go-to argument?.

She must’ve been a VERY neglected child to STILL be this hungry!. Sarah Palin is just a nutcase who needs to make a big stink about everything like this because she doesn’t have any other life. Can you imagine being a “friend” of something like THAT?? I sure wouldn’t be able to tolerate her neediness. John McCain saved her from an obvious life of boredom.

Sarah Palin is an idiot. Freedom! Do you love your freedom? Isn’t that how her 100k speech starts? Guess what, every American enjoys freedom, even to rent houses in Wasilla. And another thing, what is with her sexual innuendos & her children? Bristol was threatened w/gang rape, David Letterman had statutory rape thoughts about Willow & now people want to peep in her 7 year old’s windows? WTH.

Thus, he intends to harass me and my adorable family, which I’ve tried so hard to shield from that nasty old “lamestream media” by appearing countless times in person with them around the country, and by turning my house into a television studio for MY kind of media, the faux kind.”. But see, “God of Hellfire”. you’re not her. She, the Princess of Paranoia, the Duchess of Deception, the Wicked Witch of Wackiness will use McGinniss’ next-door-neighborly-ness to begin the process of discrediting him: “Look at what that bad man did. He moved in next door to me, in full daylight, without hiding.

This is exactly the type of pathetic vindictiveness Palin has shown in Alaska for years – the only difference is that now she can take it national. When will her “fans” and the media get it: she and Todd are tyrannical hypocrites, interested in lots of media attention and the resulting money but angry that anyone would be so mean as to write anything they don’t have control over.
