On March 3, "gay marriage" became legal in the District of Columbia. Under the new law, the Council emphasized that the DC, as an entrepreneur in the city, Catholic Charities must offer equal benefits to same-sex couples who have made heterosexuals. The schedule change was not a coincidence.
