Among the revelations in Andrew Young’s new book about John Edwards is that once the whole sordid truth about Edwards and Rielle Hunter emerged, Bill Clinton “called the senator and said, in effect, ‘How’d you get caught?’ ” It’s not a surprising question, given the source. But the better question may be how Edwards got away with it for so long.

According to The New York Times, members of the Republican Conference House conservatives said they were "eager to try the president and his political viewpoint, rather than listen to another senior management – presidential." Although these meetings are normally held in the House, Republicans have decided to open after the White House has indicated its willingness to do so. As Luke Russert said on MSNBC:. House Republicans were prepared and ready to go to his conversation with President Obama at their annual retreat today. However, following the success of Obama, some Republicans are now regretting that decision.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) issued a statement calling on CBS to explain publicly its advertising rules, after rejecting a proposal for a site of Super Bowl Commercial Mancrunch.com Gay. "This network should tell the public the truth about what happened but seems to be a homophobic double standards," said GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios. The statement said that the refusal continues, the network has recently approved a controversial Super Bowl advertising by focusing on the organization of the Christian family.
